Western Sahara is a territory disputed to be on the northwest coast and in the Maghreb region of North and West Africa. The territory is controlled by two factions. The first is the self-proclaimed Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic controlling 20% of the territory and their neighbor Morocco occupies and administers the remaining 80%.

The economy of Western Sahara
Western Sahara has few natural resources and last rainfall and freshwater resources for agriculture by they have rich fishing water and phosphate reserves. It is debated that due to phosphate, the country is liable to have rich oil and natural gas fields. Most food for the Urban population comes from Morocco and the government of Morocco also controls other economic activities.
Western Sahara has a small market-based economy since the main industry there are fishing, tourism, phosphate mining, and pastoral nomadism.
